Abstract

This article discusses the feasibility, safety, and benefits of laparoscopic intracorporeal Kono-S anastomosis for Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory disease that often requires surgical intervention, which can lead to complications such as anastomotic leak and recurrence. The Kono-S anastomosis is a novel technique that has been shown to have lower rates of recurrence and reoperation compared to standard anastomosis methods. The article presents a case study of a patient who underwent laparoscopic intracorporeal Kono-S anastomosis with successful outcomes. The authors conclude that this technique is safe and effective, avoiding the need for larger incisions and reducing the risk of complications. [Extracted from the article]
