Abstract

The article "Leading for Happiness" highlights the importance of employee well-being in companies. According to a study by Oxford and Harvard universities, companies with happier and more satisfied employees have better profitability and performance in the value of their stocks. To achieve employee well-being, elements such as personal and professional growth, recognition, sense of purpose, and social and emotional relationships at work must be considered. The leader plays a key role in forming motivated and satisfied teams, conveying a purpose, generating trust, and instilling enthusiasm in the team. Leadership begins with self-development and coherence between the leader's values and actions. The article emphasizes the importance of having competent leaders in the workplace, as this contributes to the overall development of society.
