Abstract

Vehicular ad-hoc network is a subclass of MANET, and has become an important area in intelligent transportation networks, due to its various applications like safety, infotainment, and traffic management application. In these networks, nodes are represented as smart vehicles that can communicate between themselves to exchange traffic information. Due to high mobility that subsequently creates high dynamic network topology and it results in congestion with in the network. In such circumstances the most important task is selection of exact Routing protocol to provide Quality of service. This paper aims to study and compare various routing algorithms designed for VANETs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
