Abstract: Several letters to the editor are presented in response to articles in previous issues, including "ACM Ethics Enforcement Not Feasible at Present," in the July 1969 issue, on permitting the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) to comments or act on political and social questions and on a paper describing the techniques used to collect information on the workings of a large time-sharing system by means of software measurement techniques.
