Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimum working space temperature for manufacturing motorcycle exhaust to increase production and reduce worker fatigue, production errors, and work accidents. The Firefly Algorithm was used to determine the optimum temperature value. The results showed that the Firefly Algorithm outperformed the Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm, with the optimum temperature value of 30°C resulting in a production output of 21 units compared to 19 units at 31°C. The implication of this study is that optimizing workspace temperature can improve production output and worker safety. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
