Benzotriazepine synthesis, conformational analysis, and biological properties.

Various benzotriazepine ring systems have been synthesized and examined for biological activity. Moreover, the 1,3,4-benzotriazepin-2-one has been shown to act as a constrained amino amide surrogate in mimics of peptide turn secondary structures.
