Abstract

The text is a review of the book "Michel Foucault. Truth, Ethics, and Subjectivation" edited by Nelson F. Roberto-Alba. The book focuses on the key concepts of Foucault's thinking, such as discursive practices, rules of veridiction, procedures of governmentality, and forms of subjectivation. Foucault modified his approach in his later years, shifting from the genealogy of the modern subject to the analysis of forms of problematization of sexual morality in antiquity and Christianity. The book offers a fresh perspective on power, focusing on the concepts of truth, subjectivation, ethics, and politics. It also analyzes the relationship between spirituality and truth in Foucault's thinking. [Extracted from the article]
