Abstract
- The article discusses the alignment with multinational capital interests and Western imperial expansion effected by the Indonesian state and ruling class despite their independent foreign policy rhetoric, as of July 2024. Topics covered include the pragmatic move's aim to perpetuate the existing domestic class rule, regional level imperialism, state and ruling class national level responses, and anti-imperialist trends. Also noted are possibilities of an anti-imperialist resistance.
