Abstract
- The article examines a misconception in recent publications regarding Russell's theory of descriptions. It clarifies that the translations of English sentences containing definite descriptions into quantificational forms are incorrect. The article provides examples to illustrate the correct understanding of Russell's theory and addresses criticisms raised by other scholars. It also discusses the use of imaginary names in Russell's theory and the potential confusion between restrictive and non-restrictive relative clauses. The author suggests a correction to the formalization of a logical statement involving uniqueness. [Extracted from the article]
