The article covers five decades of the history of women artists in graphic humor, taking as its starting point the emergence of feminism from the 1970s to the expansion, consolidation and popularization of digital media in 2020. In dialogue with categories such as gender and feminist genealogies, we present a selection of brazilian women cartoonists who produced before and after the emergence of the Internet, focusing on short biographies, themes, debates and approaches.
