In airline transport, crew planning has a critical importance in carrying out operations in a safe, organised and efficient manner. Airline companies need to meet expectations in order to achieve growth and competitive advantage. Innovation in airline operations and passenger satisfaction are key drivers of passenger preference and continuity.In this context, businesses will earn high profits and have the opportunity to reach more passengers. One of the most important stages affecting the success in operational processes is crew planning. After fuel costs, the biggest expense item of airline companies is personnel costs. Team planning processes, which have a complex and very limited structure, will provide significant advantages to the business when managed successfully. In this study, cabin crew planning processes of an airline in Turkey for fleets were analysed and a decision model for crew planning was presented. In the study, 9 criteria and 3 alternative aircraft types were determined and analysed using with Pythagorean AHP-WASPAS method. According to the findings, it is hoped that it will contribute to the aviation industry with a unique perspective in terms of team mapping. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
