Abstract
- The article suggests the strategic significance of the incursion by Ukraine into the Kurks region of Russia that could make it harder for Russia to mount and offensive attack and could also help rebuild morale among Ukrainian military troops and civilians. It discusses the improved intelligence-based mechanized warfare skills and techniques of the Ukrainian army as demonstrated by the counteroffensive cross-border raids.
