Abstract

Tannery meat residue solid waste is a kind of protein-rich waste, which is easy to corrupt and stink and pollute the environment for a long time. Therefore, how to develop its value is a problem that tannery enterprises pay more attention to. In this study, the solid waste of tannery meat residue was pre‐ pared into meat residue hydrolysate by biological enzyme method. The preparation process of meat resi‐ due hydrolysate dry powder was determined by experiments. The inlet temperature was set at 140 ℃ and the flow rate was 17 r/min. The meat residue hydrolysate dry powder can obtain the maximum yield. This dry powder was used as a nitrogen source for the fermentation production of JW-3 dehairing enzyme. On the basis of single factor experiment, the response surface analysis method was used to screen out the best addition ratio of dry powder of meat residue hydrolysate and optimize the culture medium. The re‐ sults showed that the optimal medium for the enzyme production of the genetically engineered strain WB800N/pHT43-npr was as follows: dextrin 30 g/L, dry powder of meat residue hydrolysate 20 g/L, MnSO4 26 mg/L, CaCl2 0.05 g/L. The protease fermentation activity was 1 203.5 U/mL, which was about 10% higher than that of the basic fermentation medium.
