Abstract

This article presents a case study of a 68-year-old woman who presented with a large nasal mass and progressive dyspnea. The patient had a history of suspected sarcoidosis and was diagnosed with lupus pernio based on her skin biopsy findings. She was prescribed prednisone, methotrexate, and received intralesional steroid injections, which resulted in improvement of her skin lesion. Lupus pernio is a rare cutaneous manifestation of sarcoidosis, and systemic glucocorticoids and immunomodulatory drugs are commonly used for treatment. [Extracted from the article]
