Abstract

• A portable quantitative detection system for oxytetracycline antibiotic. • OTC biosensor made up of aptamer modified screen printed electrodes. • Designed and developed a custom made cyclic voltammograph. • For milk, chicken and pork meats obtained an OTC LOD: 16.86, 30.27 and 24.25 μg/L. • Detection system current is inversely related to OTC presence and dose.
