Abstract
- The article focuses on the interplay between race and trade within the framework of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). It examines how historical and ongoing racial dynamics influence trade practices, using the example of the pecan industry in El Paso County to illustrate broader patterns of racial capitalism. It highlights the persistent inequalities faced by low-wage Mexican laborers in the trade system.
