The article analyzes the sustainability of the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia from a fiscal and territorial perspective. The importance of collaboration between the nation and local entities for the management, protection, and sustainability of this heritage recognized by UNESCO in 2011 is highlighted. It is concluded that there are fiscal weaknesses that limit the capacity for self-management and the development of landscape protection and conservation programs. Additionally, the dependence of municipalities on national transfers and royalties is mentioned, reflecting a structural flaw in decentralization and limited capacity for generating their own resources.
