Abstract

This document is a letter to the editor discussing the development of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and their association with cutaneous granulomatous reactions (GD). The authors conducted a systematic review of reports on ICI-associated GD to better understand the clinical implications. They found that GDs observed in patients treated with ICIs included sarcoid-like granulomas, interstitial granulomatous dermatitis, granuloma annulare, granulomatous panniculitis, and foreign-body granuloma. The review also highlighted the importance of timely biopsy to confirm the etiology of radiological findings and offered management considerations for dermatologists and dermatopathologists.
