Abstract
- The article presents information on the launch of an electronic device based on the serial peripheral interface (SPI) by Macronix International Co. Ltd. Macronix entered the market with what it claims are the fastest, lowest-power devices, offering key features not found in other serial flash parts. STMicroelectronics NV introduced a family of SPI standard-pinout serial flash memories for both data and parameter storage.
