Abstract

This article discusses the case of a 37-year-old female who presented with dysphagia and epigastric pain. After undergoing various tests, including an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound, a diagnosis of an esophageal duplication cyst was made. The patient opted for endoscopic management, which involved puncturing the cyst wall and taking biopsies. The patient recovered well and experienced complete relief of symptoms. The article also highlights the rarity of duplication cysts and the potential benefits of using endoscopic ultrasound in their diagnosis and management. [Extracted from the article]
