Abstract
- Three case reports were described involving patients aged 63-67 who experienced toxicities and lack of efficacy while being treated for various types of cancer. The patients developed hepatitis, myocarditis, hand-foot syndrome, maculopapular skin rash, or rhabdomyolysis during treatment with drugs such as nivolumab, sorafenib, and pembrolizumab. In one case, a patient experienced hepatitis and myocarditis after receiving nivolumab, but showed improvement after treatment with methylprednisolone. Another patient developed myocarditis and rhabdomyolysis after receiving pembrolizumab and ultimately passed away due to cardiogenic shock and multiple organ failure. These case reports highlight the potential toxicities and lack of efficacy associated with certain cancer treatments. [Extracted from the article]
