Abstract

This article discusses seven case reports of patients who experienced various toxicities while being treated with pembrolizumab, nivolumab, or ipilimumab for melanoma, Hodgkin lymphoma, or non-small cell lung cancer during pregnancy or in-utero exposure. The toxicities included antiphospholipid syndrome, pneumonitis, thyroiditis, autoimmune hepatitis, ketoacidosis, hypophagia, neonatal respiratory syndrome, congenital hypothyroidism, hand malformation, fetal distress, retinopathy, stroke, respiratory distress, and motor developmental delay. Some patients experienced spontaneous abortion or stillbirth. These case reports highlight the potential risks and complications associated with these drugs during pregnancy or in-utero exposure.
