Abstract
- The article discusses a study on noninvasive nasal secretion sampling to assess the inflammatory phenotype of adult allergic rhinitis patients. The study, conducted in China, focused on developing an effective and standardized procedure using adsorbent materials like PU sponge and PFM for nasal secretion collection. Results showed that PU sponge had higher fluid recovery rates and protein release efficiency compared to PFM, making it an optimal material for sampling. The study aimed to provide a novel platform for evaluating disease severity and monitoring clinical efficacy in allergic rhinitis patients. [Extracted from the article]
