Establishment of a New and Quick Method for Gas Well Productivity Calculation by Pressure Calculation on Formation Coefficient.

Aiming at the problem that there is little or no well test data in offshore gas field, through a large number of data statistics of well test data in domestic offshore gas field, grey correlation analysis is then used to explore the root factors affecting gas well productivity. Firstly, pressure square parameter was introduced to correct gas well productivity and thus establish a new forecast chart with this correction. Meanwhile, non-linear regression is used to establish a series of empirical formulas for gas well productivity in conventional gas field and low-permeability gas field under different conditions. The average error between new formula and actual well tests analysis is about 5.6%, also use chart to quality control calculation results and demonstrate the reliability of this new method. This new method for calculating gas well productivity based on pressure correction can solve the problem of little or no well test offshore gas field and can provide an important reference for a rapid evaluation of gas field productivity of a new block.
