Abstract
- A 73-year-old woman developed acquired drug resistance while undergoing treatment with carboplatin, pemetrexed, and pembrolizumab for stage IVA advanced lung adenocarcinoma. Despite initial shrinkage of the tumor, the disease progressed after 11 months of treatment. Subsequent NGS testing revealed the presence of a KANK1: ALK fusion, leading to a change in treatment to alectinib, which resulted in a rapid clinical response. [Extracted from the article]
