Understanding Transnational Technical Communication in Technical and Professional Communication: What Do You Mean When You Use the Word “Transnational”?

This article explores the usage and implications of the term “transnational” in research articles published in the prominent journal of <italic>Technical Communication</italic> from 2013 to 2023. Employing content analysis techniques, metasynthesis, and transrhetorical reading as self-reflective methods, this research reveals the diverse ways in which <italic>transnational</italic> is employed. The findings of this study suggest the adoption of transnational feminist frameworks to advance the goal of social justice in Technical and Professional Communication (TPC). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
