Abstract

The article discusses the efficacy and safety of sublingual immunotherapy using house dust mite tablets for children aged 1-4 years with perennial allergic rhinitis. The study found that the treatment enhanced allergic rhinitis symptoms, altered immunological responses, and decreased wheezing frequency compared to the control group. The research suggests that early therapeutic intervention with sublingual immunotherapy may be crucial in preventing asthma advancement in young children. A randomized controlled trial based on this preliminary study is currently underway. [Extracted from the article]
