Abstract
- A literary criticism of the book "Reconsidering the Life of Power: Ritual, Body, and Art in Critical Theory and Chinese Philosophy," by James Garrison, is presented. It examines Garrison's use of subjectality theory in a creative way, an approach to the Maoist dynamic of voluntarism, and the problem of subjective agency in Garrison's work.
