Abstract
- Human Resources (HR) professionals play a fundamental role in organizations, as they are responsible for managing and developing human capital, ensuring the recruitment and retention of talent, as well as promoting a favorable organizational culture and climate for growth and success. They are also responsible for promoting actions aimed at employee development, increasing productivity and employee engagement. This article aims to develop a panel of competencies necessary to evaluate the performance of HR professionals. The methodology used was qualitative-quantitative, using bibliographic research and the Fuzzy Delphi method, as well as the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) multicriteria method to establish competency weights, which were grouped into three dimensions: Strategic Positioning, Collaboration and Cooperation, and Results Orientation. Through the application of the Fuzzy Delphi method, it was possible to validate 14 out of 15 competencies identified in the literature. The results show that the most relevant dimension is Strategic Positioning (weight = 44.6%). Regarding competencies, External Articulation (weight = 32.5%) is pointed out by experts as more relevant in the Strategic Positioning dimension, while Ethical Posture (weight = 40.2%) and Organizational and Execution Capacity (weight = 34.2%) stand out, respectively, in the Collaboration and Cooperation and Results Orientation dimensions. The analysis of the results allows an understanding of the labor market demands and the skills required to stand out in this profession, which can be useful to guide the development of training and qualification programs in the area.
