Abstract

Nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) is a challenging malignancy with a poor prognosis due to late diagnosis and resistance to conventional treatments. Nanotechnology offers promising solutions to address these limitations by enabling targeted drug delivery, enhancing therapeutic efficacy, and facilitating multimodal treatment strategies. By leveraging the unique properties of nanomaterials and nanocarrier systems, innovative approaches for early detection, targeted treatment, and multimodal therapy can be developed, paving the way for more effective and personalized management of NPC. This review provides a comprehensive overview of recent developments and applications of nanotechnology in NPC therapy, focusing on improving drug stability, biodistribution, and targeted delivery to NPC tumors.
