Abstract
- Dementia in Alzheimer's disease is a disorder that poses a significant public health problem, currently lacking both effective preventive methods and curative treatments that can genuinely slow its progression. In this context, numerous global studies are underway aimed at identifying and certifying superior therapeutic approaches for this pathology. This paper presents a synthesis of the specialized literature, outlining some of the latest treatments that have either been approved or are in the process of being approved based on the results of extensive clinical trials, focusing on the control of symptoms and progression of dementia in Alzheimer's disease.
