Abstract

A 50-year-old man with cholangiocarcinoma exhibited lack of efficacy with gemcitabine and carboplatin and developed calciphylaxis during treatment with pemigatinib. His medical history included cirrhosis and thrombocytopenia, complicating his treatment. Despite various interventions and clinical trials, the man ultimately chose hospice care and passed away due to disease progression. The case highlights the challenges and complications that can arise in cancer treatment, emphasizing the importance of personalized care and monitoring for adverse reactions.
