This article pretends to be a theoretical incursion into the magmatic world of passion conceived as the unchained power of human acts. This paper is inspired in the works of the Spanish philosopher Eugenio Trías, and proposes passion as a basic category from which to analyze the constituent processes of identity, while understanding that proposals of this type have raised doubts in the great philosophers of western civilization including Aristotle and Descartes.
