Abstract

The article focuses on the clinical sign of finger clubbing, or digital hippocratisme, in two patients with no apparent underlying conditions. Topics include the lack of symptoms or abnormalities in various tests, the historical and pathological significance of clubbing as a sign of chronic respiratory or cardiovascular diseases, and recent research suggesting a possible link to hypoxic conditions and vascular growth factors.
