Escola no campo como precursora educacional: a historicidade da educação de Moreira Sales/PR.

In this article, we propose discussions regarding the historicity of formal education in the rural area of Moreira Sales/PR. This production is an excerpt from a master's thesis completed in 2023, and its analysis was based on the historical investigation of the concept of schools located in the countryside, where we discuss the possible terminological differentiations between "rural" and "from the countryside." As a methodology, we used bibliographic research, drawing from studies related to rural education and discussions of public policies through programs associated with this teaching mode. We emphasize that a school situated in a rural area is significant for its regional context, whether with a "rural" or "from the countryside" perspective, even if class consciousness, struggle, and permanence in the countryside are only addressed in schools that adhere to a Countryside Education framework.
