La ética y su importancia en la implementación de políticas públicas del sector defensa colombiano.

This article was the result of the award-winning monographic work called "Strategy to guarantee ethics in the formulation and implementation of public policies in the Defence Sector", which was honoured within the Master's programme in Public Security (MASEP) of the "Miguel Antonio Lleras Pizarro" Police School ", where a pedagogical strategy was structured to guarantee the development of ethics in the formulation and implementation of public policies in the Colombian defence sector, to improve the quality of life in the territories and positively impact security and respect for the life of its residents. Methodologically, this research was approached with a descriptive documentary structure, accompanied by the mixed method. Therefore, it became necessary to address scenarios with homogeneous and non-homogeneous characteristics. In both, valuable information for the work was collected with due rigour; for this, surveys and interviews were designed and applied to personnel specialised in this topic. Finally, thanks to the field work and the professional referencing exercise, it was possible to define an application and evaluation strategy based on the educational context, in order to optimise ethical behaviour of public officials in charge of formulating public policies in the defence sector.
