Abstract

The article discusses the life and legacy of Yahya Sinwar, a Hamas leader in Gaza who was killed in combat during the Israel-U.S. genocidal war on Gaza. Sinwar, a man of principle, wrote a novel while serving a prison sentence, exploring themes such as direct Israeli occupation, the rise of Islamist activism, and the scourge of collaborators. The novel provides insight into the brutality of the Israeli occupation and the evolution of the Palestinian resistance movement, shedding light on Sinwar's commitment to the struggle for liberation.
