EDITORIAL.

The editorial article of the Venezuelan Journal of Current Analysis highlights the recognition received from the Council of Scientific and Humanistic Development of the Central University of Venezuela for its contribution to open access to knowledge. In addition, the activities carried out by the Institute of Economic and Social Research in commemoration of the 86th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences are mentioned. The publication presents four articles that address topics such as death in the Humanities, citizen participation in housing programs in Venezuela, the rights of older people, and the effectiveness of the Patria System bonuses in overcoming poverty.
