Abstract

A 17-year-old boy developed aseptic meningitis after receiving IV immune-globulin treatment, leading to symptoms such as severe headache, photophobia, and neck stiffness. Despite initial complications, his symptoms improved with anti-inflammatory medication and subsequent SC immune-globulin treatment. The boy was later diagnosed with Noonan syndrome, hypothyroidism, and COVID-19, and benefited from IV immune-globulin in managing his recurrent respiratory tract infections. Additionally, a heterozygous mutation in the PTPN11 gene was identified during his medical evaluation. [Extracted from the article]
