MIGRAÇÕES PARA ALEM DOS PADRÕES CISHETERONORMATIVOS: LGBTQIAP+ VENEZUELANOS NO BRASIL.

Historically, the studies about migration have ignored the diversity of subjects that make up migratory flows, considering the experiences of white, heterosexual men as universal. Recently, however, this scenario began to change, with greater academic visibility given to women and the LGBTQIAP+ population in the studies that involved migration. The general objective of this paper is to put light on the geographic displacement of LGBTQIAP+ people, especially those from Venezuela from 2017 onwards, seeking to understand how sexual orientation and gender identity affect the migratory paths of these subjects and the reasons for their search for Brazil as a destination.
