Abstract
- The World Wide Fund for Nature South Africa (WWF-SA) has released a practical guide to help farmers and landowners increase biodiversity on their farms by viewing their land as ecosystems. The guide, authored by Marijke Honig and Shelly Fuller, provides suggestions for creating, managing, and enhancing biodiversity on farms in the Western Cape. It includes practical examples, resources, and contact information for regional restoration experts. Additionally, a global survey conducted by Bayer, BCG, and Ipsos found that transformative technologies like new genomic techniques in agriculture are more accepted by the youth and those in less industrialized countries compared to high-income nations.
