Abstract
- Traffic congestion is one of the most severe problems in the modern transportation system. To solve this problem effectively intelligent urban transportation system was introduced. It is essential to ensure the secure exchange of information in transport systems, such as safe data transmission between cars, infrastructure, and service providers. Many methods have been implemented to address the urban transportation system's security issues. Blockchain can improve the security and privacy of Smart Transport Systems and prevent data from being altered for the wrong reasons by offering a secure and decentralized platform for data interchange and storage. Despite these advantages and enormous potential, blockchain technology presents challenges and drawbacks, such as scalability and high processing power needs. This paper presents a comparative analysis of urban transportation systems concerning different parameters. The comparative study shows that all the techniques lag in at least one parameter, reflecting the future work scope. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
