Abstract
- The article discusses a case of upper gastrointestinal bleeding in a patient who had undergone surgical resection of the main biliary tract. An anterograde double-balloon enteroscopy revealed an enigmatic amorphous tissue covering the hepaticojejunal anastomosis, which was later identified as a pseudoaneurysm of the hepatic artery propria. The patient underwent external percutaneous transhepatic biliary drainage and embolization of the gastroduodenal artery to treat the pseudoaneurysm, ultimately leading to a positive outcome. The article emphasizes the importance of considering visceral artery pseudoaneurysms in cases of unexplained bleeding, especially after relevant surgeries or medical conditions.
