Abstract
- During the months of October and November 2000, eight samples were made, at the Station Experimental La Rambla, which is locatated in Rio Frío de Sarapiquí, in Heredia. It was determinate that crocodiles are much more active during night time, and that the number of crocodiles that were seen has been affected with previous climate conditions. Different statistic methods were compared, to calculate the visible fraction, and conclude that there are no difference between the methods, and the visible fraction calculated based on the real captive population.
