Abstract: A simple spectrophotometric technique is reported for the determination of propoxur using the coupling complexing agents namely 2-amino, 4- ditrophenol and 2,4-dimethoxy aniline. The λmax observed for these coloured complexes were at 402 and 460nm respectively. The recoveries of propoxur pesticides obtained using the above procedure were reported in their formulations, water and food grains. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
