Abstract: Investigates the features of the mechanism by which DnaJ cooperates with Hsp70 chaperones, using Escherichia coli DnaJ and DnaK cochaperones as a model. Interaction between DnaJ and DnaK chaperones; How mutations in the substrate-binding pocket of DnaK affect stimulation of ATPase activity by DnaJ; How mutations in DnaK altering the interdomain communication affect stimulation of ATPase activity by DnaJ.
