Cornell develops preservation guide in Arabic.

This article reports that the Ithaca, New York-based Cornell University Library's Department of Preservation and Collections Maintenance has developed an online tutorial to guide librarians in the Middle East in the preservation of books and manuscripts. Available in both Arabic and English language, the tutorial is based on the university's online preservation tutorial created for Southeast Asia. However, it already includes many changes to accurately reflect the special needs of professional librarians in the Middle East.
