Abstract

Treatment of aryl ketones with p‐toluenesulfinic acid and a catalytic amount of tin tetrachloride anhydrous (5%) in 1‐pentanol gives good yields of 1,3,5‐triarylbenzenes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
