The article highlights the rating system for hospitals and nursing homes published by the Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century in New York in November 2005. Speeding the review of health care organizations and hospitals is the prime objective of the system. There are six criteria involved in the evaluation of health care facilities under the system. Kenneth Raske, president of the Greater New York Hospital Association, commented on the methodology.
