Poly[[diaquacerium(III)]-μ5propane-1,2,3-tricarboxylato].

The article focuses on the crystallization of the compound poly[[diaquacerium(III)]-μ5propane-1,2,3-tricarboxylato]. Crystals of were grown under hydrothermal conditions. Two bidentate and three monodentate carboxylate groups were coordinated to each cerium ion. In the crystal structure two coordinated water molecules contribute to the network by inter-unit hydrogen bonding.
